I grew up on an island near Seattle. Surrounded by water and books, I became a voracious reader and naturally leaned towards creating my own stories.
Since then, I've earned a B.A. in American History and in French Language and Literature from Oberlin College, and have been published in publications like the Washington Post and Gastro Obscura. I even started my own site, History First, in 2017 to indulge my love of presidential history.
Today, I'm a full-time staff writer at All That's Interesting.
